I am a wife, mother, grammy and homemaker with a full time job.  With over a year in the framing business (Royal County Arts), I have been blessed with knowing some of the best artists in our area.  I am pleased that through our association, I have been able to open a new Art Gallery in Lynchburg.  It is called Art -n-Soul, A Fine Art Gallery.  It's at 544 Oakley Avenue, Lynchburg, VA.  Stop in and see us sometime.

I thank God for the ability He has given me.

He has opened the gate and I will go in.

I have always known that I had artistic ability but have generally used that ability to do crafty things. 

After taking a couple of acrylic classes and it has just taken off from there.  I love working with acrylics.  I enjoy painting historic architecture.  God has blessed me with an eye for detail and I thank HIM for that.  It is my desire to glorify Him in the paintings that I am doing and to thank Him for the ability to share them with you.

Recently I have had the pleasure of taking watercolor classes from Solly Blank. Solly has been able to show me that I can have control with watercolor and I have learned to love it, which wasn't easy for me and I almost gave up a couple of times. If you are truly struggling with watercolor, I highly recommend taking classes with Solly.   Portraits have become a passion for me in watercolor.  I have been able to do a few.

Recently, I presented one of my watercolor paintings to the actor who plays Thomas Jefferson in Williamsburg, Monticello and Poplar Forest.  You can see it on the web page.
