I just started some new classes for the City at Park & Rec. I'm teaching a watercolor class and an Acrylic class. Here are some pictures from the acrylic class.
I'm so proud of the students! Some said they had never painted before but look for yourselves, they look like pros to me!
This week we did a study painting a wooden bucket. I'm so proud of
my students! They did a great job! Buckets come in all shapes and sizes.
Week 2 we worked on some different techniques. We are painting an old house. I'm always amazed with the different looks that are accomplished. We are all using the same styles and colors and each comes up with something different.
This week we continued working on our houses. We really looked what we had done and realized that we needed to correct some of the structural work. Look at the difference it makes. In this weeks paintings we are starting to see the depth of the painting.
Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE teaching art!
We had a great class tonight. Had to take more pictures then usual.
I'm fortunate to have such a great class of students!
